MUNICH - ALWAYS A BIT BELLA ITALIA

Munich shines through diversity. That means above all: Munich is multicultural.

All you have to do is walk the streets, and you will discover a variety of Chinese, Italian, Turkish, Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants offering something for every taste.

You may also have noticed, if you have been to Munich before, that the city is full of Italian flair. Many buildings in the city center, especially the residence, the Feldherrenhalle, the Theatinerkirche, which shimmers golden yellow in the sunshine, and the Palazzi on the Leopoldstraße make Munich a bit more like Rome and Florence.

That was once intended. Ludwig I was inspired not only by Italian buildings and architects, no, he had gathered on his travels to Italy a many-headed artistic tirage that should bring the best and most interesting, as he believed, from these cities to Munich.
